Playa Chiquita is a beautiful hidden beach oasis off the southern caribbean coast of Costa Rica, bordering Panama. The nearest town is Limon and is about 4 hours drive from San Jose (capital city of Costa Rica). The white sand beaches, lush surrounding jungles, clear blue waters, and far away location make this place a perfect get-away.

Tierra De Suenos (meaning Land of Dreams) is a beautiful retreat center surrounded by lush jungles and a 5 minute walk from the beach. This place is known for their Yoga and Wellness retreats which they have every year during peak seasons. Tierra de Suenos Lodge & Wellness Center has firmly established themselves as a leader in ecotourism and healthy living. Known for helping people to unwind, de-stress and take in the nature all around them. They also have amazing bungalows for guests to stay in along with providing 3 amazing meals per day by their local healthy-minded chefs!

The theme for our retreat will be focused a lot around Dance, Movement, Healing, and Ceremony. The Movement Arts are an incredible path of healing, inspiration, and empowerment and for 7 days we will be immersing ourselves in these transformational practices. Ultimately our retreat experience is intended to help us bring greater mastery to our body, mind, and spirit!

OUR DAILY SCHEDULE BLUEPRINT
This is a basic idea of what our daily schedule will look like. Be sure to note that this schedule is loosely scheduled and revisions are to be made depending on the needs of the group. With that being said, here is the basic format of what each day will be like:

DAY 1 - Day 7:
(8am to 9am) Morning Movement Ritual (Consiting of Yoga, Qi-Gong, and Meditation)
(9am to 9:30am) Breakfast
(10am to 12noon) Energy Mastery Training (Consisting of Psychic Development Training, Energy Healing, and Group Coaching)
(12noon to 1pm) Lunch
(1pm to 5pm) Daily Nature Immersion (Hikes, Waterfalls, Beach walk, Jungle Exploration, Kayaking, ect.)
(5pm to 6:30pm) Dao-Pop Dance Training (Delve into the 5 elemental styles and train our movement expression).
(6:30pm to 7:30pm) Dinner
(7:30pm to 9pm) Ceremonial Experience (Ceremonies range from Sound Healing to Medicine Wheel, more info coming soon).

Tierra De Suenos offers cozy bungalows nestled in exotic tropical gardens. We have 7 gorgeous hardwood ecotourism minded Costa Rican bungalows that are set into the lush naturescape of our property.
Each ecotourist-minded bungalow has a different theme expressed in the hand carved wood, tile mosaics, painted murals, and artistic details. Enjoy hot showers and cool breezes from the overhead fan and large screened windows. Bungalows are constructed in tradition fashion with zinc roofs, open-air screens, wooden walls, and floors. While staying in one of our bungalows you can be close to nature, sleeping to the sounds of the jungle and relaxing in the hammock on your front porch. Observe heliconias, gingers, sloths, humming birds, toucans and much more. It’s truly a jungle experience! |

ADRIAN LOBO
Adrian Lobo is a visionary movement artist utilizing the art of movement & holistic health to inspire mastery of body & self. He artfully wields the beauty of movement and dance through innovative performance art and immersive workshops to help awaken our highest potential. He specializes in the animated-Illusion street dance styles of Popping and is also a Yoga, Qi-Gong, and Tai-Chi instructor. Lobo gracefully weaves urban street dance with the methods and philosophy of Internal Martial Arts, Ancient Dance styles, and Sacred Movement into a unique method of movement mastery he has brought forth. He seeks to help humanity become more in tune with their bodies and discover the beauty of mastering our Holy Body Temples. |

HOW TO GET HERE
|
|
We are located in Puerto Viejo, which is an area that is a little remote in Costa Rica. Travelling to the center can be made to be smooth and easy when there is coordination across the whole group. We are 4-5 hours from the San Jose airport but the drive is pretty cool and relaxing if you are a passenger and if time permits you will have a stop along the way for an optional meal.
Drive from airport – If you are going to any beach in Costa Rica, then you can expect at least a 3 hour plus drive to get there since the capital San Jose is in the middle of Costa Rica. Tierra de Suenos centre is about a 5 hour drive at peak driving times. More information on booking group shuttles to and from the airport will be discussed with Retreat Leader after booking. |
